Proxi is a robot designed to assist individuals with social anxiety by providing information about preferred social distances. Proxi is equipped with movement and sensory capabilities, including the ability to move forward and backward and to activate flashing lights and sound, in order to indicate the appropriate distance from others. By providing a visual and auditory representation of social distance, Proxi aims to serve as a tool and companion for those with social anxiety, helping them to navigate social interactions and maintain comfortable levels of personal space.
